If you get bored with bread and meat sandwiches, this is a great alternative to switch things up. Core your apples (one apple makes two sandwiches, with a few small slices left over for eating). Next, slice your apple so that you at least end up with four even slices. Now you can spread your peanut butter (or any butter you may use) on each slice. Sprinkle your favorite granola on two of the apple slices until the peanut butter is evenly coated to your liking. Take your two remaining apple slices and place on top of the two with granola. The end. No more steps. An easy, healthy lunch or snack. We enjoyed it and will definitely be making it a staple in our lunch variations.
